The DSQ is genuinely invested in making each moment of your wedding unforgettable. The sound of a live string quartet has an innately emotive and beautiful quality, creating a magical atmosphere for you and your guests. Our vast experience means that we can provide the perfect music for your ceremony or drinks reception, making your wedding a truly unique occasion. We cater for everything from church ceremonies to civil ceremonies, humanist ceremonies and beyond.

Not only do we play as a string group, but we offer a range of further options:

– Violin and piano (optional add cello)

– Violin and harp (optional add cello and/or piano)

– Violin and guitar (optional add cello and/or cello)

– Solo violin, with or without backing track

– We also play with any singer, be they professional or friend or family member…this can be added to any of our instrumental group options.

Our extensive repertoire spans many genres, including classical, pop, rock, light jazz and more. On occasion that you request any piece of music outside of our current repertoire, we will arrange a bespoke orchestration especially for you, at no extra cost.

We love working with our clients to put together their dream playlist, be it strictly classical, more modern and recognisable, or a mixture of both! Rest assured that you will have our advice and guidance in choosing your music, every step of the way.

We travel to anywhere within Munster (Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, Clare) as well as to Kilkenny, Laois, Kildare and Offaly.

Variety is the key to being individual and, to cater for every taste, we regularly collaborate with many of Ireland’s most lauded singers and musicians.

We have a long list of singers’ and musicians’ names and contact details that we will happily share with you upon request, or contact them directly ourselves on your behalf. We collaborate with these professionals regularly, and have done with most for many years, so we can confidently attest to their excellence.
